At the beginning of December 2022 I was hired as an SEO Associate at Sagapixel SEO by the CEO Frank Olivo. My work there continues what began at Wonderful Machine, a Narberth, Pa.-based photography production company, where I first started doing SEO consultations for individual photographers, seeing what could be done to raise their rankings in SERPs.
Before that, I had taught at Villanova University in its Augustine and Culture Seminar Program, Philosophy Department, and Ethics Program; at Fordham University in its Philosophy Department; at New York University in its Liberal Studies Program; at Hunter College CUNY in its Philosophy Department; and at the Philadelphia Community College in its Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies.

Work History
A company with its hands comfortably in digital PR, that is, specializing in SEO, Web Design, and PPC.
At Sagapixel SEO
As a Senior SEO Associate I oversee and maintain a host of accounts for a variety of clients, from law firms to medispas to telehealth practices to online psychiatric counseling. The work we frequently begins by establishing the location and services.
At Wonderful Machine
A photography and video production company and an international directory of commercial and editorial photographers.
In January 2019 I started at Wonderful Machine, where I worked through a few roles. For three years I worked as the SEO consultant. This started by writing about Google Analytics and then transitioned into SEO Audits and SEO Implementations.
For two years I was the Editorial Director and SEO Consultant, which means that I’ve been
- writing, editing, proofreading, and publishing articles for the commercial photography industry;
- overseeing Member Open House and Instagram Live series;
- conducting SEO audits for member photographers and providing recommendations for best practices;
- and partially managing the migration of the site’s 4,000 blog posts from Expression Engine CMS to WordPress.
Before that, my role was the Content Strategist and SEO Consultant, meaning that I was
- writing, editing, proofreading, and publishing articles for the commercial photography industry;
- managing monthly emailer production;
- overseeing the various static pages of the site;
- and conducting SEO audits for member photographers and providing recommendations for best practices.
Achievements:
Helped shape the beginning of the “Creative In Place” series as part of WM’s way to respond to the COVID pandemic
Implemented better SEO practices on the site blogs and across the site generally
Oversaw the migration of articles from the older CMS (Expression Engine) to the newer CMS (WordPress)
Taught writers how to use the em-dash and the semicolon
Even before that, I worked as the Member blog editor, editing and scheduling spotlight articles promoting recent projects my commercial photographers.
When I started, my role was Internal documentation, which meant that maintained the labyrinthine documentation of the company’s processes.
